Or at least, to participate in the new game show that is about to see the light of day! Yes, this is the good news that the biggest aficionados of the sitcom have been waiting for. On September 22, 2024, the Central Perk gang celebrated its thirtieth anniversary. And three decades after its very first broadcast in the United States, the cult series of the 90s still has millions of fans around the world. Because yes, whether we watched a few of the 236 episodes by channel surfing on television or whether we know all the lines from the ten seasons by heart, one thing is certain: Friends has become an institution in pop culture.
And if this thirtieth anniversary is tinged with sadness, eleven months after the death of Matthew Perry, there is no question of not celebrating it. Although a new reunion episode – like the one produced in 2021 – is therefore not possible without the iconic Chandler M.
