HASbefore making his debut in Telematin This month, Flavie Flament has been working hard. To arrive all smiles in front of the cameras at 6:30 a.m., you have to get used to an alarm that goes off at 3:30 a.m. and accept living out of step with the rest of the world. “I was dreading managing the day-to-day,” admits the replacement for Marie Portolano, who had only lasted a year in this position.

To try to give herself some points of reference, Flavie Flament, who had deserted the TV sets for almost ten years, called her “morning buddies like Amandine Bégot and Léa Salamé, to get advice”. The host “quickly realized that no one has the same rhythm” to succeed in dealing with this daily jet lag that is exhausting for the health.

Finding the right tempo

“Some people sleep in the afternoon, others don’t sleep at all. Some eat before the set, others advise showing up on an empty stomach,” he sums up in Leisure TV the 50-year-old presenter.

Result: these “injunctions” did not help her at all. On the contrary. “It was a mess the first few days,” she admits. Her personal life and her morale suffered. Exhaustion loomed.
