Micheline Bailly, champion at 83
Micheline Bailly never stops breaking records. A global confrontation

For Micheline, 82 years old and proud to be “aging well,” the challenge was all the more difficult. General fatigue, accentuated by the stress of the long journey and the constraints of the pre-competition, complicated her recovery. She nevertheless started her 100-meter semi-final on August 13 at 8:30 a.m. Although she finished in 5th place in 21″76, improving her time on her 4th place at the European Championships in Italy in the fall of 2023, this result placed her 9th in all the semi-finals, just outside the qualifications for the final, leaving Micheline with reservations.
