While season 19 of the famous M6 program hosted by Karine Le Marchand, “L’Amour est dans le pré”, is in full swing at the moment every Monday evening in prime time, the show is already looking for candidates for season 20.
Every year, “Love is in the Meadow” highlights farmers in search of their soul mate.
Candidates wanted in your area

If you want to meet someone who shares your values and your passion for country life, this adventure is for you,” says the producer looking for candidates in Aveyron, Occitanie. But also more widely, throughout France.

Didier had found love in Isabelle’s arms
In Aveyron, Didier has become one of the figures of “Love is in the meadow”. Impossible to forget Didier from Aveyron. The farmer from Capdenac-Gare, who participated in “Love is in the meadow” in 2019 at the age of 56, has remained popular with the general public. Single since forever, talkative, endearing, joker and with an Aveyron accent so pronounced that M6 has to subtitle it. The show allowed Didier Marvezy to meet Isabelle, a La Poste employee who came from Haute-Garonne to live in Aveyron, but the couple has since broken up. In 2023, Didier launched an appeal for help to help him continue the work on his house.

We also learned that after the break-up between Didier and Isabelle, our dear Aveyronnais had lived an idyll with Catherine, who during season 19, had been one of Alain le Breton’s suitors.
The portraits of the selected candidates are distributed at the beginning of the year. People interested in their profiles are then invited to write a letter. Letters that the person concerned opens over the following months. Then, he invites ten of his suitors for a speed dating in Paris. After this first contact, the candidate chooses two people that he invites to his home for a week, with the aim of getting to know them and, perhaps, falling in love.
