Late last night, two bad news broke in the sports world. Two people, directly or indirectly linked to hockey, have been talked about on social networks because of their deaths.
We are talking about the father of Angela Price and Rick Jeanneret. Our thoughts are with the families.
The first is not known to the general public, but we are still talking about the stepfather of Carey Price and the father of a personality who is well known in the entourage of the Montreal Canadiens.
She posted the news on Instagram.
It’s unclear what happened since it wasn’t mentioned, but that’s not what’s important to the audience. What is important is that the Price family is in mourning.
Remember that Angela, Carey and the children were back in the West of the continent in particular to be able to get closer to the parents of the couple. And now, a few weeks after returning to their corner of the country, the Prices have to go through a big ordeal in life.
And in the big Buffalo Sabers family, another big hole has just been created.
Rick Jeanneret, recognized as one of the greatest descriptors in the history of the entire NHL, has also died. He was 81 years old and he is known as “the voice of the Buffalo Sabers” there.
And according to CEO Kevyn Adams,
One of the reasons for his popularity is that he was very colorful when speaking. It has several legendary phrases, including the famous “may day”. It will continue to cross the ages.
Even though he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012, he continued to work until 2022. He won’t have had much time to enjoy retirement, unfortunately.
So it’s a sad Friday morning in the sports world.
