Léa Beïzama, a high school student at Paul-Sabatier high school in , continues to have a string of successes. After finishing her year with an overall average of more than 18, this 17-year-old girl obtained the maximum score in the written French test. She sends a message of hope.

What joy this Tuesday, July 11, when Léa Beïzama, a first-year student at Lycée Paul-Sabatier in Carcassonne, saw her scores for the anticipated French tests. Among the different choices, the young girl had opted for the dissertation on the object of study “the novel and the story from the Middle Ages to the 21st century”. And even if the subject did not really thrill her, the 17-year-old girl did (very well) out of it. The result speaks for itself: 20/20. “For me it was impossible to get this grade. Even if I didn’t like the subject, the issue inspired me but I didn’t expect to get 20 at all”, she says. But that’s not his only feat. This resident of Aragon also obtained 19 in the oral exam (included in the anticipated test) and finished her year with an overall average of more than 18, with specialties in mathematics, physics-chemistry and life and Earth (SVT).

His main motivation: to become a veterinarian and to access a National Veterinary School (ENV) on file, i.e. to be one of the 240 selected.

“I’ve wanted to do this job since I was two, she saysI had a rabbit who lasted 11 years, because I am very interested in the profession, I read a lot of articles, and I did my best to maintain her, until I chose and weighed all her food”. Her observation internship in the ninth grade also confirmed her in her choice. “I dreaded the operations and finally I loved it”.

To achieve this, Léa works tirelessly. Alongside her lessons, the high school student works an average of 15 hours a week at home. Without forgetting horse riding (gallop level 6), mountain biking and the help she brings to her parents on weekends in the management of their gîte. “I want to show that everyone, even those who have difficulties, can make it happen when you give yourself the means. If you believe in it and work, you can’t regret anything”, she says. And his greatest qualities are humility and generosity: “I help my friends a lot because I want them to succeed with me. In first class things speed up so we help each other a lot”.

It must be said that Léa is well surrounded. His first support, his parents. “We are very proud of heris moved his father Jonathan, she is serious, diligent and then she has always given herself the means to follow her objective, that of being a veterinarian. His mother encourages him a lot too”. Next step, the baccalaureate next year. And she is already thinking about the issues of her great oral. “I am aiming for the mention very well with, if I can, the congratulations of the jury”.
