One person died at Mont Tremblant Resort this morning.

Shortly after 11:30 am this morning, emergency services were called to the village of Mont-Tremblant following an accident involving construction machinery and a panoramic gondola (gondola).
According to the SQ, after talking about a gondola that would have given way, it is argued that following an impact, two people who were sitting on board the gondola would have been thrown outside and would have fallen. .
The death of one of the two victims has been confirmed while the other has been transferred to a hospital in the Montreal region where there are currently fears for his life.
Investigators from the Sûreté du Québec from the Major Crimes Investigation Division are on site to determine the causes and circumstances surrounding this event.
