What are the best places to watch this show?
- The Grande Côte esplanade in Croix-Rousse
At the intersection of rue du Bon-Pasteur and rue Jean-Baptiste Say, the Grande Côté de Croix Rousse esplanade offers a view of Old Lyon and Fourvière.
Place Rouville, in the 1st arrondissement of Lyon, is an outlying place to the west of Croix-Rousse. The square allows a close and unobstructed view of Fourvière.
- The quays of the Rhône and the Saône
The quays are excellent places to watch fireworks. In addition to the pleasant setting above the water, the quays face Fourvière and offer, in addition to the view, a special atmosphere. It is indeed one of the most popular places for Lyonnais on July 14th.
- The Guillotière bridge
Like docks, bridges are quite popular for fireworks. That of the Guillotière or that of the University, in particular, are very good spots to admire the show.
Finally, rue de Navarre. It is an increasingly popular place for July 14, which does not remain however as popular as the quays or the bridges. Also out of the centre, this street is located at La Mulatière and offers a view of Lyon and Fourvière.
