The young writer has published his first collection of poems Valkoisia runoka (Poèmes blanc, Ed), before releasing a second work the following year Elizabeth. Miki Liukkonen waited more than five years to unveil her very first novel Oa work that contains no less than 1,000 pages with a hundred characters.
The causes of his death have not been disclosed.
The Finnish publishing house WSOY is the first to announce the sad news on its social networks. However, she announced that she would not reveal the cause of her death when contacted by AFP “invoking respect for the privacy of the writer”. The announcement of his death produced a real wave of emotion among his fans and the Finns. The Minister of Culture also paid tribute to him on social networks, commenting that this news was “extremely sad”. If the publishing house wants to keep the causes of his death private, Miki Liukkonen had confided in a long Instagram post to suffer from mental health problems. “All I can do is lie on the floor and exhale this bad feeling, before seeing it come back in an instant”he wrote on the social network.

Miki Liukkonenn was also popular for being the guitarist for alternative rock band The Scenes. Music was one of his greatest passions, but literature had become more central in recent years. The young man, in addition to writing his works, hosted a literary program in Finland in which he invited personalities from different backgrounds whose path challenged him. Her second collection of poems Elizabeth was published in June 2023 by Le Castor Astral, and the release of his fifth novel, Vierastilais planned for the fall by the publishing house WSOY posthumously.
