No danger
A fire of accidental origin which caused no injuries to the crew members and which does not represent any danger to the environment, since the fire broke out in a sealed zone in relation to the cargo of oil which contains 30,000m3.
Given the specific nature of the intervention, specialized resources were deployed: in particular 55 firefighters from Aude and Hérault but also a battalion of marine firefighters from Marseille. If a crisis unit was activated in the prefecture, the fire was declared extinguished at the 7 a.m. situation update. A boat still under surveillance.
