The creator of Silo reveals the hidden meaning of the final flashback

In an interview given to The Wrap, Graham Yost revealed that this scene of flashback will play a central role in theseason 3 plot.

“We are going to explore some origins of the story in the next season. You have now encountered Daniel et Helenperformed by Ashley Zuckerman et Jessica Henwick. Their introduction is not trivial and sets the stage for big revelations. »

The showrunner also explained the narrative choices that guided the ending of the saison 2. According to him, some members of the team initially thought of un cliffhangerleaving Juliette surrounded by flames. But it was finally decided to reveal a new piece of the puzzle rather than leaving spectators waiting.

“We knew people were going to ask, ‘Where did these Pez come from? What does that mean?’ These are these mysterious details which make Silo such a captivating series. »

A few weeks before season 2 finale, Apple TV+ formalized the renewal of Silo for one third seasonconfirming at the same time that the series would end after a fourth and final season.
