Garmin has once again accelerated software development for the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8, after taking a break over the holiday season. Only a few days have passed since the company made more than 20 changes to the trio through Beta 13.18.
However, it has now moved to beta version 13.21, which it is releasing gradually. The update is expected to reach 25% of eligible devices within the next 24-48 hours; Garmin has not said when the remaining 75% of Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8 smartwatches enrolled in its Beta program will receive a notification to install Beta 13.21 at this point.
Beta 13.21 mainly serves to resolve outstanding issues, including eleven bug fixes. The new update, however, brings three new features, including support for German and Spanish QWERTY keyboards. Beta 13.21 also updates the English QWERTY keyboard layout for smaller screens, like the 43mm version of the Fenix 8 (currently $999.99 at Amazon).
-Enduro 3, Fenix E, and Fenix 8 owners should also see a progress bar on the music selection screen after the update. It should be noted that the diving and ECG functions remain disabled on the 13.21 beta version. Therefore, there might be a few more beta releases before Garmin introduces a new stable update.
