Police in Nova Scotia announced that they had accused a woman of attempted murder. She would have stabbed a man in Truro, in what the authorities claim to be a case of domestic violence.
The Truro police service said that the agents had received a report on the assault on Friday evening, and that they went soon after a community house, which is about 100 kilometers north Halifax.
Police reported having found a 33 -year -old man seriously injured and gave him first aid before he was taken to the hospital.
The agents arrested a 26 -year -old woman on the spot without resistance. She was accused of attempted murder and violation of a court of court prohibiting her from having contacts with the man.
-The police said that she would not disclose the name of the woman until her first appearance before the court, which is provided for on a later date.
The government of Nova Scotia said that domestic violence represented an epidemic in the province, six women have been killed by men in cases considered to be domestic violence since October.
