The fire of January 14 affected the Bernard-Gariépy Center less heavily than the Bernard-Gariépy Secondary School. So much so that the Bernard-Gariépy Center will be accessible again this Monday for all students and staff and classes will resume there. The decontamination work has progressed in such good conditions that the reintegration of the premises is possible from this Monday, announced the Vocational Training and Adult Education Centers of Sorel-Tracy. Only the cafeteria will be inaccessible for the next few months due to damage caused by the fire. As the kitchens are closed, students at the Bernard-Gariépy Center will have to plan their own lunch. The dining area will be moved to a room where they will have microwaves, tables, chairs and games. The terms and conditions for resuming classes in each program have been communicated to them.
