Damien Brunner retires with immediate effect

Damien Brunner has decided to end his career as a professional sportsman with immediate effect, announces HC Bienne.

The 38-year-old striker, physically diminished, has only played 6 matches this season.

‘During his rehabilitation, he must have noticed a further regression in his physical condition, which no longer allows him to return to the level of high-level sport,’ writes HC Bienne in a press release, where Damien Brunner has been playing since the summer of 2019 No details are given on the nature of the injury, Bienne having simply mentioned muscular problems on January 11.
