In February 2003, the body of Philippe Charuel was discovered in a ditch, on a departmental road, in Gondreville, in the suburbs of Nancy. The man who attacked two prostitutes in front of Nancy station was beaten by two men, taken into a BMW and beaten to death again in the garbage room of a Formula 1 hotel in Laxou.
