At Vinissimo, Italian products are in the spotlight. (Photo: Maison Moderne/archives)
Very wine
Here, we eat with the boss of the neighborhood, Flavio Becca, since the Vinissimo restaurant belongs to his group, which developed all the new buildings. The specificity of the place is also that in addition to the restaurant, there is a wine library, a delicatessen and a catering counter. Chef Alessandro Vannelli’s cuisine is of course oriented towards Italy, Flavio Becca’s homeland, with a preference for refined dishes and high quality products. You can order with your eyes closed, you will not be disappointed. The setting is very warm, with lots of wood and hams hanging above the counter. A good option for a relaxed business lunch.

At Oberweis, you can have lunch, have a coffee and buy a cake to take away. (Photo: Matic Zorman/archives)
Bistro by Oberweis
Some will tell you that it is not very original, but this address has the merit of offering accessible cuisine of consistent quality. We come here for a Caesar salad, a bite to eat or the suggestion of the moment. Above all, save room for dessert, because their pastries are delicious. The interior atmosphere is calm, the space is spacious, with lots of natural light.

New Delhi
A little outside the Cloche d’Or, in the old Gasperich district, is this good Indian restaurant which has existed for over 20 years. The daily menu, at €14.50, will convince those who work in the neighborhood. Traditional preparations are found there and spice levels are indicated to avoid any unpleasant surprises. For those who like to eat very spicy, a page of the menu is dedicated to them, bringing together all the “three pepper” dishes. On the other hand, decor-wise, it’s not fun. Better to look at and appreciate what you have on the plate.

Tapas, Iberian ham, cheese and wine: a perfect pairing to have a good time at Origins. (Photo: Origins)
Origins
A small place where the atmosphere is often at its best: in this tapas and wine bar, people come here with friends and colleagues, after work, to relax. The suggestions for cheeses and charcuterie to share obviously have a Nice place on the menu, but there are also dishes for lunch breaks. Special mention for the “combo” offer, with for example soup & quiche or daily special & coffee. Wide choice of pinsas and tapas. Nice choice of wines by the glass (as well as in the bottle, obviously).
