The events took place on the night of Wednesday January 22 to Thursday January 23, in the town of Elne. The victim was treated on site by firefighters, but was not transported to hospital.
Firefighters from the Pyrénées-Orientales responded to a fire in a home during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, around 2:25 a.m., in the town of Elne.
According to the first elements, it was a sofa which was near a fireplace which caught fire. At the scene of the fire, a little over twenty firefighters were mobilized to control the flames which, fortunately, were able to be contained without them spreading to the rest of the show.
-As for the victim, she managed to leave her home on her own and was taken care of by the emergency services. She was then examined, but was not taken to hospital.
