Samsung’s Galaxy S25s are finally official. The smartphones are already available for pre-order and will arrive in stores on February 7, 2025. The ideal opportunity to take a complete look at the prices of each model and the price changes. While some might see this price list as bad news, we prefer to see the glass “half full”. Finally ! Samsung today presented its new high-end flagships: the Galaxy S25, S25+ et S25 Ultra. The formalization took place during the Unpacked conference that the firm organized in the United States. Their identity was no longer a secret, as leaks and rumors exposed practically all the new features, whether hardware or software. And we might as well admit it: the leaks were generally right, especially when they claimed that the Galaxy S25 would largely repeat the work done on the Galaxy S24.

And who says pre-order also says… price! If you’ve taken a look at our other articles, you’ve probably noticed that we haven’t gone into detail, because it’s worth spending more than a few lines on it. Indeed, the prices chosen by Samsung for the Galaxy S25 may seem prudent. They are in fact identical to those of the Galaxy S24. There is only one difference which concerns the Galaxy S25, with the appearance this year of an additional storage level at 512 GB. Here are the prices of each model in detail:

- 128 Go : 899 euros
- 256 Go : 959 euros
- 512 Go : 1079 euros
Galaxy S25+
- 256 Go : 1169 euros
- 512 Go : 1289 euros
Galaxy S25 Ultra

There are several important details in this price list. First, the fact that Samsung is not increasing its prices, despite the few improvements on the technical sheet, in particular the processor that you find in all models (the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy). Despite inflation among spare parts suppliers, Samsung chooses not to pass this burden on its customers’ wallets. This is good news. Of course, some might argue that Samsung could have lowered its prices to be more competitive with certain Chinese brands. We prefer to see the glass half full.
Why is Samsung keeping the 128 GB version of the Galaxy S25?
Second remark: despite the small size it offers, the 128 GB version of the Galaxy S25 is not removed by Samsung. For what ? To keep a call price below 900 euros, like at Apple. Because Samsung follows Apple’s price list as always. Indirectly intended consequence: the Galaxy S25 will be one of the rare smartphones with a Snapdragon 8 Elite sold below 900 euros. And we would never have bet on Samsung.
Last less positive remark: in its 512 GB version, the Galaxy S25 will be the first small format model from Samsung to exceed 1000 euros. A sign that does not mislead about the future. Also note the value of each storage tier: 60 euros for an additional 128 GB, 120 euros for an additional 256 GB and 240 euros for an additional 512 GB. It couldn’t be more logical.
