A knife attack occurred this Wednesday in Aschaffenburg, Germany.
According to initial reports, two people were killed and two seriously injured.
A suspect was arrested.
It was in Aschaffenburg, a town in Bavaria in Germany, that the events occurred. This Wednesday morning, two people were killed during an attack in Schöntal Park, local police announced on social networks. Two other people “seriously injured are hospitalized” she added shortly after.
Alerted, the police and emergency services went to the scene to help the victims.
A suspect in custody
A security perimeter was immediately set up. “After an act of violence in Schöntal Park in Aschaffenburg, a major operation is currently taking place. There are several people seriously injured. The police announced the placement of one person in police custody. “The suspect was arrested in the immediate vicinity of the crime scene”she writes. “There is no indication of other suspects. There is no danger to the population”she assured on the social network.
