Violent incident on the seafront

Knife attack in the center of Salerno. On the Trieste seafront, near the old Central Post Office palace, a twenty-year-old young man was injured. Immediately rescued by the ambulance after a call to 118, the young man was not in danger of death. The police intervened to investigate and understand the real motivations of the argument which then degenerated into a violent episode. The police have already arrested the attacker, identifying him as a foreigner.
