Since arriving in the NBA, Bronny James has faced persistent skepticism regarding his talent and legitimacy in the league. Witness to this phenomenon, a player freshly cut by the Lakers clarified things about him.
While his playing time in NBA has become increasingly thin, discussions concerning it have faded somewhat. Despite this, the doubts surrounding Bronny James following his draft remain indeed present. It must be said that his performances in the ranks of Lakers have so far failed to silence his detractors, who are still doubtful about his qualities as a player.
Quincy Olivari delivers his verdict on Bronny James
Signed via a four-year contract, Bronny seems to have permanently secured his place in the Lakers squad. This, unlike other young players whose references seem superior. This is for example the case of Quincy Olivari, recently cut by the franchise. However, there is no question for the latter to ruin sugar on the back of LeBron’s son. He declared to Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson:
Quincy Olivari : People wanted Bronny to be as strong as his father from the moment he came into the league, and that comparison isn’t fair to anyone. Bronny is his own person, he learns, he wants to learn and improve, and he will continue to learn. He will show signs of progression like I did when I was 19-20 years old and playing in college.

-Like Shaquille O’NealOlivari therefore regrets that his ex-teammate suffers from his last name. He nevertheless believes that the latter will be able to ignore this pressure and become a good player:
Quincy Olivari : It turns out he’s the son of the best player in basketball history and people are putting expectations on him that aren’t fair.
Again, he is not her father. Bronny carves his own path, he continues to work hard to be the best version of himself. And by spending time with the team, whether in South Bay (in the G-League) or with the Los Angeles Lakers, he will end up reaching his potential and we will see at that point that he is a player in his own right, not his father.
For now, the 20-year-old guard spends the majority of his time on the G-League courts, where he has already achieved some notable performances. On the other hand, he has so far failed to use this confidence accumulated in the minor league to shine in the NBA. Only time will tell whether he will manage to overcome this major obstacle in his young career.
Despite a remarkable coup in Summer League, Quincy Olivari was not retained by the Lakers, unlike LeBron James. This does not prevent him from showing his support for the young full-back, of whom he says he is convinced of the future development.
