How Katherine Fleming saved the Getty Museum’s treasures from the Los Angeles fires

CHRONIC – The president of the Getty Museum in Los Angeles managed to save the treasures in her care. Explanations.

Katherine Fleming told a journalist from Wall Street Journal, Kelly Crow, art market expert, that she immediately opened the entire irrigation network of the estate, modified the air treatment in the corridors, museum rooms and libraries, preventing the penetration of less flame, especially since the double walls provide additional protection for the collections. The center has a reservoir of 4 million liters of water.
