After a busy weekend at the Bell Center where he played two games in two evenings, the Montreal Canadiens are back in charge as the Tampa Bay Lightning visit the metropolis in an important match for the Atlantic rankings while Montreal is only three points behind after its recent good performances.
-For Tampa, this is the second game of a four-game road trip and a convincing 5-1 victory Saturday against the Red Wings set the tone for the journey for Jon Cooper’s men.
The Habs, for their part, are not left out after a spectacular victory against the Rangers on Sunday, a first for Jakub Dobes at the Bell Center this season. It is Samuel Montembeault who will defend the Canadiens’ cage against the Lightning.
During the last game between the two teams, just before the end of the year in December in Tampa, Montembeault earned the first star of the game in a 5-2 victory for the Canadian.
