It is a four-month long investigation that the police of Lunel (Hérault) have just closed. This Tuesday, January 21, they communicate on the dismantling of a tobacco trafficking network and money laundering acts. In connection with the Interministerial Research Group (GIR) from , from a dog team from the GIC and the Intervention and Surveillance Platoon, significant seizures took place.

In detail, the gendarmerie specifies having seized 300 cartons of cigarettes, nearly 15,000 euros in small denominations, a vehicle and even 50,000 euros in bank accounts and savings plans.

Drugs were even found during the search, with several dozen grams of cocaine, 80 ecstasy pills, 14 grams of MDMA and a few grams of crack.

According to the gendarmerie, all those involved were brought before the courts.
