This Tuesday evening, FC Barcelona is traveling to Benfica for the seventh day of the Champions League.
While the Portuguese club opened the scoring in the second minute of play thanks to a goal from Vangélis Pavlídis, a certain Robert Lewandowski allowed Barça to quickly equalize from the penalty spot.
Problem: a few minutes later, Pavlídis took advantage of a monumental blunder by Alejandro Balde and Wojciech Szczęsny to give his team the advantage again!
On a through ball, Barça’s Polish goalkeeper came far from his goal to try to intercept the opening.
-Unfortunately, the Spanish left-back did not see his teammate come out. Result: big buffer 40 meters from the goal and a highway for Pavlídis.
The Greek striker scored a hat-trick by subsequently converting a penalty!
