Montreal Canadiens prospect Ivan Demidov continues to blacken the scoresheet in the KHL.
The 19-year-old and first-round pick last June scored a goal and had an assist in SKA St. Petersburg’s 5-2 victory over Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on Tuesday.
SKA ends a streak of four losses.
-Demidov scored a spectacular goal at 16:27 of the third period, his team’s third goal, the one that made the difference on assists from Zakhar Bardakov and Sergei Sapego. Bardakov finished the game with two assists.
Demidov also participated in his team’s first goal which was scored by Sergei Plotnikov at 5:05 of the first period.
