Chelsea Win with Crucial 3-1 Victory Against Wolves

LONDON: Chelsea managed to end their six-match winless run in the Premier League with a 3-1 win over relegation-threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge on Monday. This victory was marked by goals from defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Marc Cucurella, as well as winger Noni Madueke.

The Blues, eager to regain momentum in their quest for a Champions League place for next season, opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Adarabioyo masterfully slotted the ball into the net from close range. However, an error from goalkeeper Robert Sanchez allowed Wolves to return to level terms just before half-time. Sanchez inadvertently let a corner slip, allowing Matt Doherty to score, leaving supporters worried about another collapse after recent matches where advantages had been squandered.

Fortunately for Chelsea, Cucurella became a key figure, scoring a goal shortly after the hour mark following a deflection from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who was making his league debut for the club, from Madueke’s cross. Just five minutes later, Madueke himself added a third goal, scoring with a header after a shot from Trevoh Chalobah — who returned to Stamford Bridge after being recalled from a loan spell at Crystal Palace — crossed the line .
