Weather report. What is the weather like this Tuesday, January 21 in Hauts-de-France?

Atmospheric pressures will decrease during the day. This evening, they will be around 1010 hPa, while we will be ahead of the low pressure system called Garoé. It is therefore the end of the anticyclonic conditions and the return of disturbed and windy weather for the coming days.

No big change despite everything this morning sky-wise. The gray conditions remain widespread, and in the center of Hauts-de-France locally dense fogs have formed. A little frost is possible with negative temperatures. Only on the seafront is the atmosphere brighter this morning.

This afternoon, even if gray still dominates, a certain brightness appears, especially the coastal zone and the east of the region. We must take advantage of it because a disturbance is coming next night. You will need to be careful if you have to travel, particularly in the south of the region during the second half of the night, because the first rains will fall on frozen ground. The east to southeast wind remains weak from morning to evening.

There are many frosts at daybreak. Météo France announces temperatures between -3 and 0°C.

We will all the more appreciate the rise in maximum temperatures which, today, reach 5 to 7°C.

Wednesday : The abundant cloudiness linked to the disturbance will deliver light rain throughout the day. This rain will increase at the end of the day, as will the wind. Minimums of 0 to 2°C, maximums of 4 to 8°C.

THURSDAY : Trolling sky in the morning. Driven by a moderate to fairly strong southwest wind, clouds will be numerous and clearings will be temporary and rare. From midday another rainy deterioration will arrive from the west. Light to moderate rain will spread throughout the region in the afternoon and will be accompanied by gusts of up to 60 km/h inland, 80 on the coast. Count on 1 to 3°C for mini, 7 to 9°C for maxi.

Friday : From one end of the day to the other the sky will be overcast with rain or showers. Under this darkening sky the south to southwest wind will be quite strong, with good gusts like the day before. Small consolation with this southern current which will accentuate the sensation of softness : 5 and 6°C for the minimums, 10 to 13°C for the maximums, we will therefore be well above the seasonal values.

ATMO Hauts-de-France informs us that today the air quality will be degraded to poor in the west and south of the region and average in the rest of the territory, still linked to PM2.5 particles. . Let’s hope that the end of the anticyclonic conditions and the return of rain and wind will allow us to find a better index.
