Portugal: Danny Namaso takes the cup against Gil Vicente

FC Porto carried out the bad operation of the 6e championship day. Traveling to Gil Vicente’s pitch, the Dragons were largely defeated (3-1). Indeed, Dany Namaso and his teammates got off to a bad start in the match. However, there was the possibility of getting the three points of the day. A third consecutive defeat in all competitions. A big disappointment a few days before the return of the Europa League.

The locals who quickly took the lead thanks to Pablo. He opened the scoring in the 11th minute of play (1-0). Gil Vicente had control of the match with a very offensive game. But, Vítor Bruno’s foals will find the resources to return to the match. At 48′ of play, Gonçalo Borges will restart his team (1-1) by resetting the counters to zero. This will be the visitors’ only goal in the match.

The readjustments made by Bruno Pinheiro will undermine FC Porto. At 53′ of play, Josué Sá, at the forefront, will give back the advantage to Gil Vicente (2-1). Félix Correia will definitely put his team away with a penalty in added time (90+4′). A great victory (3-1) which propels Gil Vicente into the top 10. FC Porto is third with 40 points. Unfortunately, the Dragons missed the opportunity to take the lead in the championship. Danny Namaso and his team must pull themselves together before hosting Olympiakos next Thursday as part of the 7e day of the Europa League.
