The Ministry of Justice launched a kidnapping alert on Monday to find two young children who had gone missing earlier in the day. Mohammed and Nassim were found this Monday evening. But the suspect is still being sought.
A kidnapping alert was triggered this Monday, January 20 at the very end of the afternoon. Two children, Mohammed (5 years old) and Nassim (3 years old) were missing, they had been seen for the last time in the town of Fourmies (North): the two young victims were at rue Jean-Jaurès. The kidnapping would have taken place in the middle of the day this Monday, around 1:10 p.m.
“Mohammed is 1m10 tall, is dressed in a black and white coat, a black hat, black jeans and black sneakers. Nassim is 70cm tall, is dressed in gray jeans, a brown coat, a beige hat with “teddy” ears and black sneakers,” the communication from the Ministry of Justice indicated.
This Monday shortly after 9 p.m., the two children were found in Beuvrages (North), according to BFMTV. Mohammed and Nassim are safe.
-The authorities specify that the main suspect, who “could be the father, is still being sought. He is a North African man measuring 1m65, brown eyes, short black hair, growing beard, aged 38, carrying “a navy blue down jacket, black pants and black sneakers, a gray neck warmer”. The latter allegedly fled in a light gray Audi model A3 vehicle, registered BD-761-QQ.
Aged 38 and having just been released from prison, he is prohibited from being in the presence of his ex-partner who has a “serious danger” telephone, a protection device for people threatened by their ex-spouse, explained a source close to the investigation told AFP.
