Monique Olivier, ex-wife of Michel Fourniret, confessed to her involvement in the disappearance in Orne in December 1993 of Lydie Logé, a 29-year-old young woman whom the serial killer, who died in 2021, is suspected of having killed , the family’s lawyer said on MondayAFP.
Ms. Olivier, indicted since January 2021 for complicity in the investigation concerning this disappearance, “recognized that she was on the scene, which is a form of confession for me”, clarified Me Corinne Herrmann, confirming a information from RTL. Lydie Logé’s body was never found.
These confessions took place “at several times” before the investigating judge of the serial and unsolved crimes center of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), detailed Me Herrmann, without giving further details on the content of Monique Olivier’s remarks. A transport to the scene of the events, in the presence of the accused, is planned for Thursday, according to the lawyer.
