An investigation relaunched in 2018
Lydie Logé, mother of a seven-year-old boy, disappeared on December 18, 1993 in Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet, in Orne. After doing her Christmas shopping with a friend, the last person to see her alive, she returned home before disappearing.

-Two investigations, carried out between 1994 and 2009, resulted in dismissals. However, in 2018, investigations resumed thanks to connections between traces ADN discovered in Michel Fourniret’s van and the DNA of Lydie Logé’s mother.
Family hopes for answers
In December 2020, Michel Fourniret was indicted for kidnapping and sequestration followed by deathbut he died in May 2021 before being tried. His ex-wife, prosecuted for complicity, remains the main source of information.
And transport to the scene is scheduled for this Thursday in the presence of Monique Olivier, in the hope of obtaining new elements. Lydie Logé’s family is now waiting for the serial killer’s ex-wife to provide additional details and help locate the body.
“We hope that she will eventually speak completely,” concludes Me Herrmann. Contacted, Monique Olivier’s lawyer did not wish to react immediately.
