Monique Olivier admits to having played a role in the kidnapping and murder of a Fourniret victim

Monique Olivier admitted to having played a role in the kidnapping and murder of Lydie Logé, who disappeared in 1993 in Orne. Her ex-husband, serial killer Michel Fourniret, had confessed to the murder of the young woman before her death.

In 1993, Lydie Logé, 29, disappeared in Orne. Around thirty years later, Monique Olivier confessed to having played a role in the kidnapping and murder of the young woman whose body was never found, BFMTV learned from a source close to the case this Monday 20 January, confirming information from RTL.

She had until now denied her participation

The ex-wife of serial killer Fourniret was interviewed in two stages. A first time last winter, and the second time in May 2024. According to a source close to the investigation at BFMTV, Monique Olivier admitted to being present and to having witnessed the attempted rape of the young woman and then her murder by Michel Fourniret.

The serial killer, who died in May 2021, had confessed to the murder of Lydie Logé in 2019, but Monique Olivier had, until now, always denied her participation. She was already indicted for complicity in this matter.
