After two years of existence, the FIM Sand Racing World Cup has now become a real world championship. From 2025, a world title will in fact be awarded by the International Federation in the discipline. A first.
On February 8 and 9, the Enduropale du Touquet will be, as tradition dictates, the finale of the French sand season. But it will also be the opening of the international sand racing season, which has now become a world championship at the end of which the first sand racing world champion will be crowned.
After the French classic, competitors will then travel to South America for the Enduro del Invierno in Argentina, which will take place from August 29-31, before returning to Europe for Bibione, Italy, from October 24-26.
The fourth round will take place in France on a date and location to be confirmed. This will be followed by the Monte Gordo Sand Experience in the beautiful Algarve region of Portugal on November 29-30. The sixth and final round will see the series return to northern France for the Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais 2026, on a date to be confirmed in February.
