The chemicals manufacturer Arkema announces the appointment of a new director at the head of the Pierre-Bénite factory. François Girot already knows this platform having held various positions there. He then worked on other sites, continuing his career at Solvay, in Collonges-au-Mont-d’Or. He returned to Arkema in 2020 as industrial manager. For a year, François Girot had become the deputy of Pierre Clousier, the former director of Pierre-Bénite, who joined the group’s head office as environment director.
This arrival corresponds to the moment when the industrial platform has the obligation to no longer release PFAS (eternal pollutants).
