Rowen Rose wins the 4th edition of the DHL Talent Fashion International Prize

Among the five finalists of the DHL Talent Fashion International Prize, the jury revealed, this Saturday January 18 at the Who’s Next show, the name of the big winner of this 4th edition: it is the fashion label Rowen Rose. A daring Parisian brand, adept at baroque and sophisticated fashion, led since 2019 by the hyperactive fashion designer Emma Rowen Rose.

“During Milan and Fashion Week, we open temporary showrooms to present our pre-collection to buyers, influencers and the press,” explains founder Emma Rowen Rose, 27, who trained at Chanel and Diane Von Furstenberg.

“Generally we are in the 8th arrondissement, but this season we are joining the Riccardo Grassi multi-brand showroom in the 16th arrondissement”, which represents young brands positioned in the high-end designer segment.

A bold label for a baroque-chic wardrobe

In its catalog we find ready-to-wear with a retro chic style, a touch of the Roaring Twenties, such as long dresses in bright red tweed woven in Italy (sold for 1,550 euros), shirts oversizedown jackets and trench coats print leopard, raglan coats in powder pink and sand hues (2,405 euros), and accessories side of belts bling-bling in chains and pearls as well as rhinestone earrings.

After a collection for next spring-summer called “Are you game?”, including resolutely sporty-chic polo shirts (one of her best-sellers sold at 375 euros), Emma Rowen Rose pays homage to the Polish painter Tamara de Lempicka ( and its Slavic origins) in its fall-winter 2025 collection, inspired by coffee society from the interwar period.

His colorful and very theatrical pieces have been resold in the department store Printemps Haussmann for a year, as well as in a network of around thirty international retailers such as Harrod’s in London, and e-retailers such as Net-A-Porter , Farfetch and FRWD.

“Wholesale today represents 90% of our sales,” explains entrepreneur Emma Rowen Rose. “We are looking to develop our digital, and side retailwe are doing a new pop-up next March in Dubai with the That concept store.” Export represents the vast majority of its activity, the United States, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates and China being part of its best markets.

A feminine wardrobe that is very popular with major exporters

The young label has opted for production Made in Italy, she works with workshops in Bologna, Naples and Puglia, and has her stitches made in Venice. She is also part of the 2024 class of IFM Labels – the accelerator for young creation launched in 2011 by the prestigious Parisian fashion school – alongside the brands Jeanne Friot, Maitrepierre, Weinsanto and Alfie, to work on various axes such as digital, SEO, merchandising and even price positioning.

“The brand has been growing organically for six years, and after our first fundraising, closed two months ago, we signed a strategic partnership with an Italian industrialist in the sector, a shoe producer,” confides Emma Rowen Pink. Thus, the young fashion designer, who graduated from the Marangoni Institute in Milan and Esmod in Paris, does not hide her ambitions to later add a line of shoes to her fashion offering.

Very dynamic, the Rowen Rose brand, which today employs a team of six people and calls on three freelancers, achieved a turnover of 1.2 million euros in 2024.

Rewarded for her export potential, the big winner of the DHL Talent Fashion International Prize, Rowen Rose will be rewarded with 10,000 euros of DHL Express shipping coupons. In addition, she will benefit from tailor-made coaching on international transport, on online sales strategy, in addition, she will be supported by the international service of the French Women’s Ready-to-Wear Federation to accelerate her development.
