These workshops in Centre-Val de Loire allow middle school students to know if they have gold in their hands

Founded in 2021 by Gabrielle Légeret, De l’or dans les mains’ mission is to raise awareness among young people about manual trades by reintegrating artisanal practice into colleges.

The association deploys educational programs within schools where students make an object with a craftsman, in line with their school program.

She also engages in active advocacy to transform education by working hand in hand with government, business and public opinion.

Today present in six regions of France, it has more than 4,000 students supported in more than 25 establishments and has allowed more than 500 artisans to share their expertise and their passion since its launch.
