The Cancer Association of Eastern Quebec invites the population of Bas-Saint-Laurent, Côte-
Nord and Gaspésie and Îles-de-la-Madeleine to participate in the 8th “Lottery that does good”, making it possible to offer essential services to people with cancer and their loved ones.
The total value of the 15 prizes to be won amounts to more than $50,000, representing once again this year an unrivaled peak thanks to the collaboration of our generous prize partners whom I would like to thank for their commitment to the Association’s mission.
There are 25,000 tickets, at a cost of $12 each, which are currently on sale until June 9 at 11:59 p.m. throughout Eastern Quebec thanks to a vast network of 63 points of sale and the valuable collaboration of six hospital foundations which also offer tickets in their region.
A new foundation, the Matane Hospital Foundation joins the Manicouagan Health and Social Services Foundation, the La Matapédia Action-Santé Foundation, the Rocher-Percé CSSS Foundation, the Hôpital Sept Regional Foundation -Îles and the Fondation Santé Côte-de-Gaspé for ticket sales.
In return, they will receive a percentage of their sales which will be used to provide services locally to people affected by cancer.
Over the last three years, the participating Foundations have been able to reinvest a total amount of nearly $48,000 in their community,” declared Ms. Krystine Plourde, Executive Director of the Eastern Quebec Cancer Association.

Tickets are on sale for $12 each and the cost for 5 tickets is $55 and $100 for 10 tickets.
