The Algerian Youcef Belaili was undoubtedly the best player of this group stage, he who was decisive in the majority of matches played by Esperance de Tunis.

Despite his age, the former Fennec confirmed that he is the best player in Africa. He achieved impressive statistics during this 2024-2025 edition of the Champions League and he can do better if he can shed a few extra pounds.

It is also true that the Egyptian Emam Ashour was brilliant with his club Al Ahly, but he was not as decisive as Youssef Belaili.
