A fire broke out on Saturday morning in a household appliances warehouse in Aubervilliers. A large plume of smoke billowed into the sky. 136 firefighters were mobilized on site. There are no victims.
A fire broke out in a household appliance storage warehouse in Aubervilliers this Saturday, January 18, said the Seine-Saint-Denis prefecture. Emergency services are on site and a security perimeter has been established. The fire was brought under control shortly before 2 p.m., it was then “in the process of being extinguished according to the prefecture”.
Firefighters were called around 9:50 a.m. 136 firefighters, 29 engines and seven water hoses were mobilized on site, they told BFM Paris Île-de-France, confirming information from Le Parisien and Actu Paris. Around 12:30 p.m., they managed to control the fire and contain it.

The building, with a surface area of 1,600 square meters, did not house any people when the fire broke out: there were therefore no victims.
On social networks, witnesses published several videos of the blaze, which released a large plume of smoke.
-The prefecture had recommended avoiding the area, closing windows and protecting yourself from smoke. Firefighters also secured adjacent buildings.
