In today’s Bundesliga clash, Bayern Munich secured a 3-2 victory over Wolfsburg, cementing their top spot in the table as they prepare to face Bayer Leverkusen to defend their title. This victory temporarily widened the gap with Bayer to seven points at the start of the second half of the season.
Historically, Wolfsburg have struggled at the Allianz Arena, with 25 defeats and just two draws in Bundesliga encounters against Bayern. Today’s match continued this trend with complete domination by Bayern.
Leon Goretzka opened the scoring for Bayern in the 20th minute, but a quick equalizer from Mohammed Amoura in the 24th minute briefly changed the game. The host team regained the lead in the 39th minute through Michael Olise, who then assisted Goretzka for his second goal in the 62nd minute.

Tiago Tomás came on shortly after Goretzka’s second goal and immediately scored points by providing the assist for Amoura’s second goal in the 88th minute.
