Clubs Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid have encountered unexpected obstacles in the run-up to Real Madrid’s match against Las Palmas.

This Saturday, FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid crucially lost points in their quest for the LaLiga title.

Firstly, Barcelona’s perfect start to the new year was tarnished by a 1-1 draw against Getafe, marking their fourth consecutive league meeting without a win.
