Called for a fire, firefighters make a surprising discovery in a home in Sterrebeek (Zaventem)

The fire broke out following a short circuit on an electrical cable in a home located Taymansstraat in Sterrebeek (Zaventem). “When they arrived on site, the firefighters noticed an abnormal heat source,” reported prosecutor’s spokesperson Sabine Lievens. “This led to the discovery of a cannabis plantation of around 250 plants, spread over three different floors.”
