Kfir was kidnapped on October 7, 2023 from Kibbutz Nir Oz, bordering Gaza, held in the arms of his mother, Shiri, in the company of his brother then aged 4, while his father, Yarden, was kidnapped separately. The toddler will spend his second birthday in captivity this Saturday.
