Very good news at Club Brugge: contract until June 2026 for the next Joaquin Seys – All football

Member of the core playing in the Youth League this season, Alexander Vandeperre has just extended his contract until 2026 at Club Bruges. He should earn playing time in the Challenger Pro League, with Club NXT.

Each day of the Champions League, a few hours before the first team’s match, the U19s of Club Brugge face the same opponent as the A, in the Youth League.

In this competition, contested in the same format as the C1, but with only six league phase matches, Club Brugge ended its campaign in 31st place, with three meager units gleaned against Dortmund (1-1), Sturm Graz (1-1) and AC Milan (1-1) during the first three days.

If Club NXT did not succeed in qualifying for the rest of the competition, this Youth League, in which we find a bunch of future high-level players, still allows us to gain significant experience.

This was the case of Alexander Vandeperre, starter with the U19s as left back since Joaquin Seys joined the A core and revealed himself. Fully trained in Bruges, the Belgian U18 international has just extended his contract in Venice of the North.

A contract extension until June 2026 which will allow him to discover the Challenger Pro League with more depth, under the orders of Robin Veldman, he who only appeared in the game once, for 18 minutes, in the professional world. He should therefore quickly leave the club’s U19 core.
