The Senators will look to return to winning ways today after suffering a 1-0 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals on Thursday. Defenseman Donovan Sebrango made his first NHL appearances in place of Thomas Chabot, while goaltender Leevi Meriläinen continued his good run for the Senators, stopping 26 of the 27 shots aimed at him.
This afternoon’s opponents, the Boston Bruins, will be looking for a third straight victory. In their last outing, they beat the Tamia Bay Lightning 6-2 on Tuesday night.
In their first matchup of the season, the Senators defeated the Bruins 3-2 in overtime.
