Itineraries, times and changes in weather conditions are all possible pitfalls to take into account when you want to snowshoe hike. Without forgetting the protected natural areas for which conditions or even access bans are in force, often unknown to even experienced practitioners.

In mid-January, a group of friends, former PE teachers, hesitated on which path to take in the middle of a clearing in the Massacre forest. With them, a dog walks without a leash. “Today, we preferred to take snowshoes, because there are skiers among us, but not everyone. » They come from almost everywhere in France, and have already stayed regularly, for more than twenty years, in the Jura.
