A ship carrying 5,200 tonnes of domestic gas docks at the port of Bizerte – Réalités Magazine

The port of Bizerte welcomed this Saturday, January 18, the ship “GAZ HONOUR”, coming from Algeria, loaded with 5,200 tons of gas intended for domestic consumption. The ship was moored at the oil quay of the Tunisian refining company “STIR” after leaving the exposed area.

In a statement to National Radio, the director of the Aigle Gaz company center in Bizerte indicated that, following the unloading of 2,600 tonnes of gas, the process of filling domestic gas bottles has begun, in order to distribute them to customers. of the region as well as in the North and North-West of the country. The same source said that a fourth ship is expected next week as part of a series of scheduled deliveries to guarantee a continued supply of domestic gas.

It should be noted that the gas bottle crisis has become a recurring and worrying problem. Citizens are experiencing increasing difficulties in obtaining gas bottles, essential for cooking and heating in many homes.
