In front of their home crowd to try to bounce back, the Spurs offered a sad spectacle this Friday evening against the Grizzlies. A big defeat at the end, and Victor Wembanyama far from shining offensively. What’s wrong?
THE Spurs will not have their revenge against the Grizzlies upon arrival. Despite the absence of Ja Morant due to an injury, San Antonio largely lost this Friday night with a final score of 140-112. Mitch Johnson’s men were evenly matched until the third quarter, before completely breaking down in the last 20 minutes.
This is a problem and certainly not a small one. This new defeat brings the Texans’ record to 19 victories and 21 defeats, putting them in difficulty in trying to reach the playoffs NBA. Either the franchise finds the necessary resources to react internally, or it will be necessary to seriously study the possibility of making a trade to arrive in the postseason.
